Cameron Vale School is celebrating exceptional 11+ entrance examination success, with much-coveted offers received from prestigious schools and all children in the enviable position of securing a number of offers each, therefore, giving them choice in the next step in their education.
In what was a highly-selective process, ambitious boys and girls from the Chelsea-based school determinedly sat their entrance exams, which resulted in offers from some of the most renowned independent schools in London and further afield.
For the girls wishing to board in September 2021, sought-after offers were received from Benenden, Downe House, St Mary’s Calne and Wycombe Abbey, and for those pupils choosing the London Day school option, offers were obtained from respected schools including Francis Holland, Godolphin and Latymer, Putney High and Queen’s Gate.
The boys were also triumphant. Pupils keen to stay closer to home when they move into Year 7 received offers from Dulwich College, Emanuel, Ibstock Place, The Royal Russell School and Whitgift, while the boys opting for flexi-boarding further afield received offers from Cranleigh and Sevenoaks.
Headmistress, Bridget Saul commented, “The 11+ process is highly competitive and we are beyond proud of our pupils for their outstanding success. It is a significant milestone in their educational journey, during what has been a very uncertain time but, they have achieved exceptional results.
“The pupils have shown great resilience, adapting quickly to the many changes thrown upon them as a result of the pandemic, throughout a process they so diligently prepared for. Our children will leave Cameron Vale as confident 360-degree thinkers, with essential life skills such as the ability to interact with people, work as part of a team and the skills required to be independent learners – ready to meet life’s challenges and the next step into senior school.”
