The BFDG Production Design Awards are the highlight of the British Film Designers Guild event year and an opportunity to celebrate the professionalism, creativity and skill of the Art Department, with our members, valued supporters and friends from the industry.
2021 also marks the 75th Anniversary of the BFDG so, despite the set backs and hardship in the Film and TV Industry caused by COVID-19, this will be an extra special celebration for the Guild!
This year BFDG Events Governing Committee have added 3 new awards, which they believe will help to ensure this event is open to a wider more inclusive audience, within the Guild and beyond.
These awards are: Best Production Design for a Short Film, Best Production Design for a Commercial and an award for individuals – Outstanding Contribution to the Art Department.
