Family ski specialist, Esprit Ski have partnered with Wimbledon BookFest as the first and only travel sponsor for the festival and the Lead Sponsor for Children’s Events.
Running from 4th – 14th October Wimbledon BookFest will welcome 15,000 visitors, including 7,000 school children from over 70 schools. Esprit Ski will be offering festival goers the chance to win one of 50 ski lessons at Chel-Ski, London’s largest indoor ski centre, by entering a competition which will feature in the event programme.
The BookFest Children’s programme will take place in the Bailie Gifford Big Tent on Wimbledon Common and features Greg James and Chris Smith who will talk about their new Kid Normal series and Francesca Simon, bestselling author of the Horrid Henry books who will present her new picture book. Two bestselling adult authors, Sophie Kinsella and Jessie Burton will also be introducing their new children’s books.
As the UK’s leading family ski holiday company, Esprit Ski commented: “We are delighted to sponsor the Children’s Events programme at this year’s Wimbledon BookFest. We have been providing family holidays with award-winning childcare for over 35 years and believe reading broadens the minds of children in the same way as travel does so this event was a natural partnership for us. The Esprit team are looking forward to attending the festival in October and giving away this fantastic prize to 50 lucky winners.”
