This summer, Everyman invites you to soak up the rays in front of the big screen as it presents not one, but two outdoor cinemas in London this year. Expanding its outdoor cinema offering, Everyman will return to King’s Cross for its much-loved free, annual outdoor film and TV festival, Everyman Screen on the Canal, and for the first time is introducing Everyman on the Water at The Brentford Project.
Head to the water’s edge on Regent’s Canal at Granary Square or the Grand Union Canal in Brentford to catch one of the latest releases or an old favourite, providing the perfect London day out for the whole family. The film line-up is set to include Barbie, Bob Marley One Love, The Little Mermaid (2023), The Lord of The Rings trilogy, Aftersun, Dune II, 10 Things I Hate About You, alongside screenings of the Wimbledon Tennis Championship for those looking to embrace the highly anticipated summer of sport on the big screen. Both outdoor cinemas are un-ticketed with limited audience numbers, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Everyman Screen on the Canal at King’s Cross
Making a return to the capital with a popular film schedule and just in time for the season’s hottest sporting events, Everyman Screen on the Canal will once again pop-up at the much-loved shopping and dining destination of King’s Cross.
Everyman’s free film, TV and sports festival heads to the iconic Canal Side Steps on the banks of the Regent’s Canal, this time for an extended season from 1st July to 18th August 2024. Audiences are invited to recline on bean bags on the grass steps whilst enjoying a host of films and screenings, to make the most of the great British summer.
Everyman Screen on the Canal promises to be the perfect central London spot for a romantic date night, a family day out or a fun evening with friends, with films and screenings running throughout the day and every evening between 11.30am to 10pm. The outdoor film experience is of course not complete without mouth-watering sweet treats and savoury snacks from Everyman’s food menu, and paired with a drink or two from the range of summer cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks.
