E-ACT City Heights Academy in Lambeth (part of E-ACT,a family of 28 academies) welcomed a new headteacher at the start of the new school year.
Mr Marvin Charles has taken up the post and he has a new vision for the school. Mr Charles previously worked as a Vice Principal at Haberdashers’ Academies Trust South and completed his Postgraduate certificate in education at Goldsmiths, University of London. He previously completed his Bachelors Degrees in Chemistry and Zoology at the University of the West Indies.
The new headteacher wants to move the academy in a fresh new direction that is centred on academic achievement and ensuring students have solid career paths ahead of them. The academy will be delivering an enriched curriculum through high quality teaching and Mr Charles is keen to share his plans with the local community. He is happy to offer a personal tour to anyone who is interested in looking around the school.
