Family-Friendly Events at Battersea Power Station This February Half Term

This February half-term, Battersea Power Station is packed with exciting activities for all the family to enjoy, from interactive workshopsto unmissable exhibitions.

A whole host of arts and crafts sessions will be taking place across the riverside destination, inviting visitors to unleash their imagination with fun activities including:
Power Station Stained Glass (15th & 20th Feb): Craft your own stained-glass effect Power Station to brighten your windows at home
Northern Lights Artwork (16th Feb): Inspired by the Northern Lights installation in Turbine Hall A, kids can create dazzling light-inspired masterpieces
Spin Me a Suncatcher (17th Feb): Design and weave a unique dreamcatcher with vibrant yarns, gems, and paint pens
Wooden Spider Crafts (18th Feb): Build and decorate your own 3D spider decoration inspired by the SPIDER light artwork by Groupe LAPS
Glow-in-the-Dark Bracelets (19th Feb): Make unique glowing beaded friendship bracelets to wear or share
LED Hoop Disco (21st – 23rd Feb): Dance with mesmerizing light-up LED hoops in this high-energy, family-friendly session
Free Face Painting (15th-16th & 22nd – 23rd Feb): Become fully immersed in the Power Station’s Light Festival and get your face painted for free with bright neon colours
Plus, in celebration of its 10,000th performance and 20 millionth guest, Disney’s award-winning musical, THE LION KING, will be hosting a free pop-up exhibition inside the historic Power Station’s Turbine Hall A (17th – 23rd February), giving visitors the chance to explore the masks, puppets and costumes of some of the most iconic characters up-close, and learn about the inspiration behind many of the show’s impressive designs.

Elsewhere, families with children can explore the free self-guided Light Festival art trail which has returned for its fifth year to brighten up dark winter months. There’s more fun to be had with crazy golf at Birdies, ping pong at Bounce, virtual reality arcade games at DNA VR and fun soft play at Macaroni Penguin. Those seeking adventure should head to Lift 109, where they can enjoy unrivalled views of the city skyline, catch a movie on the big screen at The Cinema in The Power Station or visit the world’s first-ever PEPPA PIG and Transformers stores.
