The London Dungeon, today announces it is putting on its rudest ever adults-only event, to promote Sexual Health Awareness Week.
The One Night Stand after hours event on September 16th, in partnership with sexual health charity Brook and comedian Grace Campbell, will use humour and history to encourage visitors to smash any taboos they hold around talking about sex and STI’s. And leave them thinking ‘I don’t want to go back to the dark ages with my sexual health’.
For those brave enough to attend there are three shows on the evening of Thursday 16th September starting at 18:00, 18:20 and 18:40. Tickets are £29 per person.
Guests will receive a welcome drink served by a darkly mischievous barmaid in the Gin Bar on arrival, followed by a hilarious stand up comedy set full of fanny farts and STI’s from London comedian, writer, director and activist Grace Campbell.
They’ll then be led into the depths of the dungeon for a no-blushes barred, adults-only tour where the modern world is left behind for a thrill-filled journey through 1,000 years of London’s murky past – guided by a cast of London’s most infamous rogues and villains, who’ve been granted permission for the night to ratchet up the rude.
They’ll meet Sweeney Todd and his evil sidekick Mrs Lovett, escape the Plague ridden streets of 1665 and visit Jack the Ripper’s favoured haunt, the Ten Bells pub in Whitechapel. Then all back to the Tavern for another drink and some good-old Victorian pub banter and entertainment.
