Make Christmas extra magical this year by heading to the Natural History Museum for Storytime with Father Christmas.

From Sunday 1 December to Sunday 15 December very merry visitors can head into the iconic South Kensington Museum and visit Father Christmas in his magical grotto.

Arriving to a fairy-lit wonderland filled with snowy Christmas trees, children of all ages can settle down on big cushions to hear the story of The Night Before Christmas straight from Father Christmas himself.

In the 45-minute experience visitors will hear how Father Christmas gets ready for Christmas with the help of his trusty elves and reindeers, before receiving a festive gift and a chance to take a photo with Father Christmas.
Father Christmas will also be holding a SEN friendly session at 10.15am every day during the event, a more relaxed session at a slower pace and with sensory kits available.

Storytime with Father Christmas takes place at set times throughout the day, from 1 December to 15 December. Tickets are £17.00 per child, adults go free.

For the perfect Christmas day out this December, plan a magical visit to the Natural History Museum to celebrate the season surrounded the 80 million specimens. Every festive visit will help to support the Museum’s 350 scientists and their vital work, including finding solutions to the planetary emergency. Storytime with Father Christmas is available to book from today (30 September). To find out more and book, visit nhm.ac.uk/events/storytelling-with-father-christmas.html
