It’s almost time to reconnect with nature at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, as families get a first look inside the amazing new lodges at the UK’s first LEGO® Woodland-themed holiday village.With the first guests checking in tomorrow (Friday 24 May), team members at the Resort are busy putting the finishing touches to its 150 cosy lodges and stylish camping barrels at the £35m LEGOLAND Woodland Village development.
As well as making-up hundreds of LEGO-themed beds to welcome kids and parents for their first stays, team members have also been dusting off a ‘tree-mendous’ selection of LEGO-built woodland animals in all shapes and sizes which will feature on the enchanting LEGO nature trail.
Helen Bull, Divisional Director at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said: “The anticipation is building as we get ready to unveil the UK’s first LEGO woodland-themed holiday village for May half term. This moment marks years of planning and commitment to providing a magical experience for all our guests.
“From getting the lodges and the barrels ready for a good night’s sleep to polishing up our on-site restaurant and entertainment hub for family fun, the team are busy putting the finishing touches to welcome the guests for what will be a unique short break experience at Woodland Village.”
Woodland Village will feature 130 lodges and 20 camping barrels nestled amongst trees on a 10-acre site.
Families will also enjoy campfire-inspired dining beneath a twinkling tree canopy at the Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar, while new on-site play areas and an enchanting LEGO nature trail offer plenty to explore for junior rangers.
