Last night, the success of the UK property industry that has helped first time buyers on the property ladder was celebrated at a special event in The House of Lords.
To celebrate a decade of the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards, the reception was designed to highlight the hard work and dedication of companies who go above and beyond to help aspirational buyers on the housing ladder.
Attended by private developers, Housing Associations, and other housing professionals, the invitation-only event was also attended by property journalists and Escape to the Country’s host, Nicki Chapman.
Lynda Clark, editor of First Time Buyer Magazine comments: “We were so privileged to be able to celebrate the hard work done by so many in the housing industry to help future generations on to the housing ladder at The House of Lords. Times have changed since previous generations bought their first home and so much more support, guidance and financial help is now required. Everyone in the industry is helping one another and so it is thanks to the work done by so many that we remain a nation that can still aspire to owning our own home.”
Celebrating 10 years of supporting homeownership, the FTB Readers’ Awards will be announced in April at a ceremony in London.
