ONE of Fitzrovia’s favourite late-night haunts is reopening its doors following a complete refurbishment.
Nordic, the district’s iconic Scandinavian-inspired sports and party bar, has seen a full-scale overhaul following a devastating fire last year.
Bringing a unique repertoire of Scandi spirits, wines and cocktails, Nordic is a popular destination for sports fans and partiers alike who want something different from the nightlife scene in the capital.
Thor, General Manager for Nordic commented: “There are so many bars across London that all do the same thing. Playing the same music, serving the same drinks, even looking the same way. We want to do things differently.
“Nordic is a throwback to the hedonistic, no-holds-barred culture that made our party’s the wildest in Europe. A love letter to the 90s party palaces, we’re making the full of the rebellious spirit that was in every shot bar and nightclub in the country.
“We’re set up to entertain, with live sports, bar games, generous happy hour and our famous ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ combining to give Fitzrovian’s the perfect place to party the night away.”
“Scandinavian culture puts a huge emphasis on good times with good people. Fitzrovia is full of bars that are nice enough, but the true spirit of togetherness just isn’t there.
“Nordic is set to change that and we can’t wait to see our thousands of loyal Vikings that have been counting down the days to party with us again.”
Nordic re-launches this October, and will be open Monday to Wednesday 4pm to midnight, 4pm to 2am Thursday and Friday, Midday Saturday to 2am and midday Sunday to 10:30pm.
