A LUXURY floral delivery company has created a stunning visual display to celebrate the King’s Coronation – and it’s just a stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace.
Creatives at Haute Florist spent weeks carefully putting together the flowery feature on the exterior of the independent, five-star Athenaeum Hotel in Mayfair.
Constructed primarily using dried wild flowers in a variety of bright colours, it gives a nod to King Charles III’s love of the natural world.
Maryam Ghani of Haute Florist said: “We are thrilled to unveil our installation at The Athenaeum Hotel after many months of planning.
“We hope it serves as a wonderful addition to the hotel during a really exciting time for the city.”
The display will be on show for the duration of the Coronation celebrations, and also features a regal touch from Tom Baker of Snow Windows.
Mr Baker, who is renowned for his artistic window displays, has created captivating imagery of King Charles on the hotel’s windows.
Once the Coronation celebrations come to an end the display will be transformed into a unique and vibrant scene, in place during key summer events such as Wimbledon and Chelsea Flower Show.
Maryam added: “Our floral arrangements will continue throughout the hotel and bar, creating a seamless and immersive experience for guests.”
The Athenaeum Hotel enjoys an enviable location with the West End, designer-lined Bond Street and Buckingham Palace all just a stroll away.
