Londoners are invited to experience a black cab like never before as Gett, London’s
black taxi app, brings its ‘Cocktail Cab’ to Spitalfields Market for a one-day-only takeover this April.
Running from 1pm on Wednesday 15th April, the free activation will transform an iconic London black
cab into a pop-up cocktail bar, serving complimentary drinks, live music and exclusive giveaways
throughout the day.
At the heart of the experience is a stationary Cocktail Cab, where visitors can sample a menu of four
drinks, including the Soho Spritz, St. Pauloma, On-the-Meter Margarita and a Frosted Yuzu Cooler
(non-alcoholic).
From 4pm – 8pm, the space will come alive with a live DJ set, making it an ideal after-work stop for
those in the City and East London.
Adding to the surprise element, a second roaming Cocktail Cab will travel through the neighbouring
streets of Central London, handing out free cocktails to passersby.
Visitors who stop by the activation will also receive free £20 Gett ride credit when downloading the
app, with additional £100 credits up for grabs throughout the day. Just make sure to share your pics
