On Friday 22nd September, DUNKIN’ UK will celebrate the opening of its brand-new flagship store, and second London location, on Wardour Street in London’s Soho. Following the opening, further stores will open in the capital before the end of the year as part of an aggressive expansion plan.
A London store isn’t just great for those in the capital, it’s great for the entire UK. In a nationwide celebration of the opening, EVERY CUSTOMER that walks into a DUNKIN’ UK store nationwide from the 22nd – 28th September will be able to enjoy a free hot or iced small espresso beverage*. There’s no catch, simply walk in and enjoy.
Plus, Londoners can enjoy a FREE special edition London Donut with any purchase in the Baker Street and Wardour Street stores from 22nd Sept – 13th Oct.
The first DUNKIN’ UK store opened by the licensee, QFM Group, was in St Johns, Liverpool in May 2016. The brand has grown to become a well-known coffee and donut destination with 30 stores across the UK. They continue to proudly serve more guests and they are super excited to be supporting the great location at Baker St.
The donut connoisseurs have aspirations to double DUNKIN’s store count in the next two years, with the goal of having 40 stores operational across the UK by the end of 2023. This year alone DUNKIN’ UK has sold some 1.4 million beverages and 2.2 million donuts, so there’s going to be plenty more opportunities for guests to enjoy some tasty treats in the coming years.
“Opening a flagship store in London is a major milestone for the brand as part of its international growth strategy and it will help to bring us closer to our mission of energising the world through great-tasting coffee and donuts.” said Michael Haley, President and Managing Director, International at Inspire Brands.
Arjun Patel, Director at QFM Group and licensee of the DUNKIN’ brand in the UK, says: “We are thrilled to be on this journey with DUNKIN’ in the UK expanding our footprint in the capital, where people can enjoy the Dunkin’ experience through great tasting coffee and donuts, at an affordable price. We have had real success in the North of England since opening and to support our great location in Baker Street, additional new store openings in the capital this year will enable more Londoners to access our iconic brand, which is something that our fans in the capital have been demanding on social media for some time!”.
