Just ten minutes of sun exposure when the UV index is high has the potential to cause sunburn depending on skin type. Whether you’re cheering on your team, enjoying a concert with friends, or indulging in a summer shopping spree, the sun’s UV rays can still harm your skin.
The British Skin Foundation advises that despite cloud cover, a considerable amount of UV rays can still penetrate through, confirming the importance of applying sunscreen whenever you’re out and about, especially during the summer months at LDO as an outdoor shopping centre.

Get Event Ready – advice from the British Skin Foundation
Use a sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30 and at least 4 stars for UVA protection
