Tusk and fitness enterprise Be Military Fit (BMF) are joining forces to offer a workout experience like no other, hosted for the first time by the Global adventurer who is ambassador to Tusk and Co-Founder of BMF. Sign up here.
Participants are invited to #TrainLikeARanger in a uniquely tailored, 45-minute workout experience, in support of the Wildlife Ranger Challenge, a global campaign to raise funds for rangers across the African continent and the world’s largest celebration of support and solidarity for the profession.
Held at the newly restored Battersea Power Station on Friday 16th June from 7:45am, the fitness class is free to attend, with donations encouraged online or at the event itself.
All proceeds will be directly invested in supporting rangers on the frontline of Africa’s protected and conserved areas via the Wildlife Ranger Challenge ranger fund. If you’re in the mood for a routine refresh, want to challenge yourself to see if you have what it takes to #TrainLikeARanger and want to make a difference to the working lives of rangers across Africa, sign up here to participate.
The Class
Participants should arrive at The Coaling Jetty, which is located on the River Thames in front of the iconic Power Station at 7:45am for an 8am start. They will be greeted by the BMF and Tusk team for a short introduction on the Wildlife Ranger Challenge and what their workout will entail. The class will then kick off in the Power Station Park with one of the most recognised faces of survival and outdoor adventure, Bear Grylls, who will lead the activity alongside BMF’s skilled team of instructors. Participants will be challenged to a series of body-weight workouts based on training programmes followed by thousands of Africa’s frontline wildlife rangers.
