Set to launch in Spring 2026, Freight Brixton is providing the community with a taste of what’s to come with an incredible run of 6 Winter Food Festivals taking place throughout the remainder of 2025. Freight Brixton is a 1,000-capacity venue designed to be the ultimate destination for locals and visitors to celebrate community, culture and music.
The Winter Food Festival series kicked off this weekend with The Winter Reggae Festival holding a packed out fundraiser for Hurricane Melissa relief funds.
The run now continues with and incredible selection of stand out winter events consisting of:
14th – 16th November – The Big Brixton BBQ – A curated selection of London’s best grill and BBQ food traders (inc vegan) such as the mouth watering Bodeans serving bold and creative dishes – with the legendary Stanton Warriors taking to the decks on Sunday
21st – 23rd November – Sausage Fest – One of London’s first LBGTQIA+ focussed food festivals with the sauciest of food traders – vibes will be provided by the likes of Cocoa Butter Club, Beef Mince, M-A-D Haus Party and Fèmme Fraîche.
27th – 30th November – The Big Brixton BBQ – A second chance to catch the next of London’s BBQ traders in all their glory – with sound system heroes Channel One taking the helm on the Sunday.
4th – 7th December – The London Taco Experience – Having sold out two incredible events at Riverside East The London Taco Experience heads South of the River for an incredible winter edition featuring the best of London’s Tacop traders. With Taco’s capped at £4.50 visitors will be able to sample the wealth of food on offer without breaking the bank!
11th – 14th / 18th – 21st December – Dine Hard – Taking inspiration from the cult debate as to whether Die Hard is a Christmas Film (it definitely is) this immersive event will take visitors back to the 80’s Nakatomi Plaza with themed cocktails, re-enacted scenes and the ultimate Christmas movie on repeat. Featuring a fusion of NY and East-Asian inspired food and more tbc – this is a Christmas (?) event not to be missed.
