This
winter, London’s newest riverside destination, Fulham Pier, will step ‘Into the Woods’ for its debut festive season – a magical forest-themed celebration on the Thames that begins on
20 November 2025 from 5pm with a spectacular Christmas Lights Switch-On headlined by Primary School Bangers star
James B Partridge.

Local resident turned music teacher superstar, James B Partridge, known for his feel-good Primary School Bangers sing-along shows and standout festival slots
including Glastonbury, will lead a countdown moment to light up the Thames. He’ll give his much-loved performances a festive twist as parents nostalgically revisit school classics like
Ding Dong Merrily On High and Hark The Herald alongside their children. This free, community-focused riverside celebration will be Londoners’ only chance to see him live this Christmas, with his show at West End’s Cambridge Theatre on the 08 December
already sold out.

James B Partridge, founder of Primary School Bangers, said:
“I love that Primary School Bangers brings people together through shared nostalgia – everyone knows the words whether they’re eight
or eighty. Performing here on Fulham Pier, right on my home turf, is exciting. I live locally, so it is great to be part of the festivities in the neighbourhood. It’s going to be a big, joyful sing-along to kick off Christmas properly, and I can’t wait for
everyone to come down and join in with the carols you know and love”.

From 20 November, Fulham Pier will transform into an enchanted ‘Into the Woods’ winter oasis, complete with giant pine trees, a cosy cabin, twinkling riverwalk paths,
and interactive digital art revealing snowy forests and miniature alpine villages through frosted windows.

Throughout the season, visitors can also enjoy the unique calendar of festive events, featuring Santa story times, festive roller discos, beanie making workshops,
a Christmas market championing local artisan,
live music, and delicious food stalls within the riverside food hall.

Families, friends and couples can indulge in seasonal dining across the pier’s restaurants and bars from Brasserie Constance’s new festive menu by Michelin-starred
chef Adam Byatt and Ruinart Champagne & Caviar trolley, to Christmas cocktails at Flo Bar and the London Essence Cocktail Bar.

Special events include Candlelight Concerts, Moët Champagne Afternoon Teas, and a family-friendly ‘Noon Year’s Eve’ celebration. The festive schedule also features film
screenings, Santa’s Brunch, and family workshops, ensuring a magical experience for everyone.

For Christmas shopping, visitors can browse Trinity Flowers’ new boutique and the pier’s year-round gift shop, filled with seasonal treats, candles and stocking fillers
like beer for your dog. Those wishing to extend their visit can enjoy a riverside stay at the newly opened Fulham Pier Hotel, offering luxurious rooms and sweeping views across the Thames.

Duncan Mitchell, Creative Programming Manager at Fulham Pier,
added: “Our Into the Woods theme is all about creating a bit of escapism on the riverfront – somewhere people can slow down, explore
and feel part of something special. It’s our first Christmas at Fulham Pier, and we wanted it to feel genuinely magical – from the large scale of the decorations to the food, music and sense of community”.

From riverside brunches and afternoon strolls to late-night dining and live entertainment, Fulham Pier offers a day-to-night Christmas experience where festivity
and community meet on the Thames.
