This September, London’s West End will prove once again why it’s the heart of culinary creativity in the capital, as Regent Street and St James’s Future of Food festival returns. This year’s event — a month-long celebration of sustainability, creativity and innovation — shines a spotlight on the chefs, trailblazers and culinary pioneers who are transforming the way we grow, source and experience food. Through an inspiring programme of one-off ticketed events, exclusive dining offers and the free-to-visit Discovery Zone, the festival explores food’s vital role in shaping a more sustainable future.
From 15th-21st September 2025, the festival will bring together an extraordinary line-up of culinary talent across 23 ticketed events taking place at leading restaurants and venues around Regent Street and St James’s. Attendees can enjoy exclusive dining experiences, from the likes of Michelin-starred chefs Alex Dilling (Hotel Café Royal) and Rafael Cagali (Da Terra); plus creative talent such as Rishim Sachdeva (Tendril), Ollie Dabbous, Melissa Hemsley, and many more.
Sustainable seafood experiences will be on offer at the festival, with guests embarking on an 11-course culinary journey at Bentley’s Ocean’s Eleven dinner, which celebrates sustainably sourced fish and seafood alongside The Crown Estate and their marine conservation partners. While those looking for an eco-conscious tipple can take part in a series of masterclasses from brands including Sapling Spirits, The Wild Wine School and speakeasy The Blind Pig at Sael – all offering an interactive and fun chance to learn more about sustainable spirits and drinks.
A taste of the many restaurants offering mouth-watering and boundary-pushing dishes across the destinations can be found at one of the al fresco On-Street Feasts. Taking place at St James’s Market and Heddon Street locations, visitors can enjoy numerous dishes from four different restaurants, without leaving their seat, including Fowl, Toba, Yokocho and Ziggy Green.
The Discovery Zone and Cafe, which is open throughout September and free to visit, will this year delve into the powerful relationship between food, the environment, and nature restoration, exploring how what we eat can help heal the planet. Interactive exhibits will shine a light on the importance of sustainable practices, with freshly baked pastries, sandwiches and coffee available to purchase from the cafe. The space will also play host to local schools to learn more about innovation in the food industry.
As well as the schedule of ticketed events, visitors can make the most of a range of exclusive offers available throughout the month. Highlights include a £25 two-course menu at Jason Atherton’s Sael, featuring a special Festival dish, plus curated set menus from standout restaurants such as Claro, Franco’s, and Heddon Street Kitchen. Shoppers can also take advantage of retail discounts, including 10% off at SMEG and Bija Coffee, with many more offers across both Regent Street and St James’s.
The festival will once again support The Felix Project as its official charity partner, with £1 from every ticket donated to help fight food waste and hunger across London. Additional donation opportunities will be available at the Discovery Zone (and during the events through QR? ).
Mastercard will return as the preferred Future of Food payment partner for 2025, offering exclusive cardholder rewards across participating venues throughout Regent Street and St James’s. Visitors are encouraged to look out for the co-branded symbol to redeem exciting benefits throughout the month of September.
