BORIS Johnson will sit down for a major interview with GB News next month and lift the lid on his new blockbuster memoir, Unleashed.
The former Prime Minister will be grilled for an hour by Camilla Tominey in a special programme to be broadcast on Sunday October 6.
He will discuss the revelations in his new book, which publishers say will “keep the nation talking”.
Mick Booker, GB News’ Editorial Director, said: “Unleashed is set to be the biggest political memoir to hit bookshelves in decades. So Camila Tominey’s interview with Boris will be unmissable.”
HarperCollins will publish Unleashed, Johnson’s account of his political career, on October 10, little more than a week after the Conservative conference.
Mr Johnson has warned readers to “stand by for my thoughts on Britain’s future to explode over the publishing world like a much shaken bottle of champagne”.
This will be Mr Johnson’s 11th book. He is already the bestselling prime minister-turned-author of the century, with his books selling more than 600,000 copies.
The former PM is currently working with GB News in a new role as a presenter, programme maker and commentator.
Speaking about his collaboration with the People’s Channel last year he said: “GB News is an insurgent channel with a loyal and growing following. I am excited to say I will be joining shortly – and offering my frank opinions on world affairs.”
He added: “I will be talking about the immense opportunities for Global Britain – as well as the challenges – and why our best days are yet to come.”
In a video Johnson also promised he would “be giving this remarkable new TV channel my unvarnished views on everything from Russia, China, the war in Ukraine, and how we meet all of those challenges, to the huge opportunities that lie ahead for us.”
