Head to London Transport Museum this February Half Term for a week of creative fun, celebrating more than a century of iconic London transport posters.
Under-fives can have fun at the ‘Strike a Pose’ workshop as they learn about the human and animal
characters from classic poster designs through dance and drama. Older children can design their very own poster in the ‘Artist’s Studio’ and build an artwork of the capital in a creative ‘Layers of London’ session.
Families can discover how Jewish artists have contributed to London transport poster legacy, through stories shared by the learning team from the Jewish Museum London. They’ll
also have the chance to make posters in the artists’ celebrated styles.
Other fun activities include family-oriented tours of the unmissable Global Poster Gallery, showcasing over 100
historic transport posters
from the Museum’s rich collection.
Kids go free at London Transport Museum and adult tickets include free return entry for a whole year.
