Global superstar Robbie Williams has joined forces with LMA to become a corner of the college & university centre. The announcement was made today at a press conference in London hosted by Scott Mills. LMA is an education centre that lives and breathes music, creative media and the performing arts – providing accessible degree and BTEC courses for young people to discover and hone their creative skills.
Robbie, who chose the LMA Choir as one of his final four acts for the live shows of The X Factor last year, found an instant connection with the LMA tram. Of the new found partnership Robbie said,
”I am delighted to now be an official member of the LMA family. As soon as I met them all I was so inspired by their passion and drive and wanted to get involved – I hope I can help motivate the next generations of pop stars performers and creatives.
Robbies’s role is to drive forward UK and international for LMA, which will start with the launch of a new London campus that will open in 2020.
This summer will see Robbie headline British Summer Rome at London’s iconic Hyde Park on July 14th. As part of his much anticipated performance, Robbie has hinted that the LMA Choir may be making a special appearance with him at this sold out event.
His new role atLMA, Robbie will join LMA founders, Richard Wallace and Simon Wallace, along with former Tesco Chef Sir Terry Leahy and investment expert Bill Currie, who have recently joined LMA team.
LMA offersnDegree courses in Musical Theatre, Acting, Music performance; Games & Animation and Film and TV Production, all.validated by Staffordshire University.

Richard said: ”The last 12 months have been incredible for LMA, some of the highlights have included our choir starring on The X Factor and our students performing alongside the original cast of Fame, through our actors and filmmakers having amazing opportunities being cast on multiple TV dramas and feature films, alongside greats such as Sean Bean and Gerard Butler.”
