Customers travelling with Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern may notice something a little different about their usual journey today, as a number of stations have been given the spooky treatment for Halloween.
The temporary changes are in place all day to celebrate scary season and create fun engagement for passengers. The names to look out for are:
Frighton (Brighton)
Creepy Cawley (Crawley)
Chillingshurst (Billingshurst)
Hauntingdon (Huntingdon)
Witchmore Hill (Winchmore Hill)
Mark Pavlides, Chief Customer Officer at Govia Thameslink Railway said: “We know that Halloween is a real hit with families, so we’ve decided to have some seasonal fun by renaming selected stations across the network. We’d love people to get involved by sharing pictures if they spot one of our ghoulish tricks when travelling today!”
Passengers are encouraged to keep their eyes peeled and share pictures by tagging @southernrailuk, @TLRailUK or @GNRailUK.
