Old Pulteney, The Maritime Malt, has created a chippy-turned-Burns Supper, in partnership with well-renowned London fish and chip shop, Sutton and Sons, to celebrate the life of Scots poet Robert Burns.
London locals are in for a treat, as Sutton and Sons will be offering fish and chips with a Scottish twist to pay homage to the legendary Bard. Those celebrating Burns Night can head to Sutton and Sons to enjoy a traditional fish and chips, with the addition of battered haggis bon bons and a dram of Old Pulteney 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, available for sit-in and takeaway at its Stoke Newington restaurant, from Wednesday 25th until stock lasts.
Burns Night has been celebrated annually on January 25th since 1801 to commemorate the life of the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns. Scots traditionally come together to enjoy a Burns supper of haggis, neeps, tatties and a dram of Scotch whisky. This year, Old Pulteney is bringing the Burns celebrations to London.
