Greenwich just got a major new reason to celebrate. Last night, the press and VIP
launch of The Dial – Home of Meantime lit up the Greenwich Peninsula, with Greenwich local and JLS star Marvin Humes jumping on the decks for a high-energy DJ set that kicked off London’s newest social hotspot in true style.
Officially opening to the public on 7 November 2025, The Dial – Home of Meantime is a bold new three-floor destination for craft
beer, cocktails, food, live music, sport, and skyline views, right on the Greenwich Peninsula, just steps from The O2 and North Greenwich Station.
Sharing his excitement about the launch,
Marvin Humes said: “As someone who was born and raised in Greenwich, it’s amazing
to see something as exciting as The Dial opening right here on the Peninsula. I’m thrilled to have played a set at the launch and to be part of bringing such great energy to my hometown.”
Created by KG Hospitality in partnership with the iconic Meantime Brewing Company, the venue has a working micro-brewery at
its epicentre, producing fresh, creative beers onsite. Alongside this will be a lively restaurant, buzzing sports bar, live music venue, expansive outdoor terrace, with seating for around 240 guests and a panoramic rooftop 360° bar with spectacular views of
London’s skyline. Guests can expect Meantime classics alongside brand-new experimental brews and limited-edition creations crafted onsite.
The venue is the ultimate hangout for everything from match days and weekend nights out to midday meetups or a pre-O2 show
pint.
Exciting premium food is a major focus of the venue, featuring shareable dishes like Chicken Schnitzel Sandos and St. Louis
Pork Ribs – bold, crowd-pleasing food made for good times and perfectly paired with Meantime’s craft beer innovations. On the terrace, lunch trucks will serve up street food-inspired dishes during the day and weekends. Behind the bar, cocktails will be an
additional speciality – fresh, fun, and totally Instagram-ready.
Founded in Greenwich in 1999, Meantime Brewing Company was a pioneer of the UK craft beer movement. At The Dial – Home of Meantime,
the brand will honour its roots while pushing boundaries with experimental brews, seasonal ales, and returning classics like Yakima Red Ale. Permanently available beers at the venue will include two new Meantime brews: Dial Lager Pilsner, and Midnight Stout.
The micro-brewery will be a true celebration of craft and quality, with the first of The Dial’s onsite brewed beers pouring from early December.
With a multi-million-pound investment into Greenwich Peninsula, The Dial – Home of Meantime is part of a wave of exciting hospitality
and entertainment bringing fresh energy to the area.
“The Dial – Home of Meantime is all about community, location, and creating a space where people can eat, drink, watch,
dance, and just enjoy life,” says Vineet Kalra, Founder of KG Hospitality.
“Partnering with Meantime made it feel like the perfect match.”
Tim Clay, Managing Director of Asahi UK,
said, “Pioneered in Greenwich, Meantime has been at the forefront of the UK’s craft beer movement from the beginning. The Dial – Home of Meantime will use this heritage to encourage and inspire new drinkers to the category with its innovative beer styles
and flavours. To be brewing Meantime beers in such an iconic location is testament to the brand’s future and our confidence in the hospitality industry.”
Laura Flanagan,
Director, Greenwich Peninsula, adds: “The Dial – Home of Meantime is an exciting addition to our growing neighbourhood. It’s a hub for residents, visitors, and workers alike, offering food, drinks, live entertainment, and experiences that reflect
the energy of Greenwich Peninsula.”
Whether you’re here for craft beer, cocktails, skyline views, sport, or live music, The Dial – Home of Meantime is Greenwich’s
newest must-visit destination, where every moment is worth raising a glass to.
