GSR is not only a self-help technique but a whole system built around the idea of working with the root causes of problems. Its advocates claim that changes are felt immediately and do not require constant repetition.
At the core of GSR lies a simple idea: the root cause of any problem we see in the external world is found in our inner world, in our states. A session makes it possible to identify this cause and transform it.
“We don’t remove or add anything,” explains Dmitry Ustinov. “We simply bring order. Imagine: a wardrobe has fallen, and clothes are scattered everywhere. You trip over them every day. A session lifts the wardrobe and puts it back in place. And everything works smooth again.”
The main difference from many popular methods is its focus on root causes rather than consequences. Most systems teach adaptation: to accept the problem and learn to live with it. GSR aims to eliminate the problem at its source.
Another distinctive feature is the absence of “relapses”. Practitioners claim that once a feeling has been processed, it does not return. “There’s no need to repeat the same session over and over. It’s not an endless cycle,” says one of the specialists.
The applications are diverse: income growth, debt management, improved relationships, reduced anxiety, and much more. People share stories of getting out of years-long debt, saving their families, and finding calm where there used to be panic.
The system is structured in modules: a basic level for self-practice and more advanced ones for specialists. This makes it universal.
“For me, GSR is not a set of techniques,” Ustinov concludes. “It’s a path of self-development — step by step, session by session.”
