A NEW hearing home visits service has launched in Bromley as Specsavers has expanded its offering to customers in the area.
The Bromley hearing home visits business is now a fully-fledged audiology service provider, offering private domiciliary hearing services to people who need it.
The locally owned and run business will provide private services such as hearing assessments, hearing device fittings and aftercare to people who are unable to travel to a store, delivering expert care directly in patients’ homes and care settings.
The launch sees Hinnah Mahmood take on the role of audiology director, who will be delivering the hearcare service, supported by an audiology administrator managing coordination and administration.
Hinnah began her career after completing a Masters in Audiological Science and gained clinical experience across both NHS and commercial audiology settings. She has worked extensively with patients with complex needs and now brings strong experience in delivering high-quality, patient-centred hearing care within home environments.
Hinnah says: ‘We are delighted to be launching our hearing home visits service in the Bromley area. Through my work in audiology, particularly with older adults and patients with mobility or cognitive difficulties, I saw that many people with clear hearing needs were being underserved.
‘This service allows us to remove those barriers and deliver the same high clinical standards directly in patients’ homes, offering more personalised assessments and hearing solutions in their everyday environments.’
The service will cover catchment areas across Kent, Southeast London and Surrey.
The Specsavers Hearing Home Visits team can also visit patients in care homes and sheltered housing. For more information and to book an appointment, call 02039508722 (option 2 for audiology) or visit https://www.specsavers.co.uk/home-visits/home-hearing-tests
