To celebrate World Smile Day on October 7th, Heathrow Express – the fastest route between central London and Heathrow Airport – will be surprising passengers with random acts of kindness to help brighten up their day.

It comes after research found the average adult gets into a grumpy mood five times per week, but half are happy when they wake up on the day of a holiday.

Travel icon Judith Chalmers OBE, who recently became Heathrow Express’ new Chief Smile Officer, is leading a team of Smile Ambassadors who will be onboard to gift travellers with treats that are guaranteed to raise a grin.

“As exciting as going away can be, the journey itself can become a source of stress for some. To help alleviate some of those negative feelings, we’ll be delighting passengers with small surprises this World Smile Day.”

Smile Ambassadors will be onboard the Heathrow Express to bring joy to passengers between 9am-1pm on Friday 7th October.
