Leading London film production company Hereford Films (The Krays – Dead Man Walking) today announced it had enjoyed a very successful visit to this year’s American Film Market in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.
CEO Jonathan Sothcott, one of the UK’s most prolific film producers, accompanied by his partner Janine Nerissa, was in Town to meet distributors, film-makers and sales agents, as well as catching up with showbiz pals including Luke Goss and Ian Ogilvy.
Sothcott told us “this was a great market for Hereford – I love the AFM because its all business – its not full of messers and wannabes like Cannes. I did some great deals, had a big picture greenlit and met some very cool people. It was an incredibly successful trip.”
Hereford Films recently announced a Krays sequel, entitled Marked For Death, which is scheduled to begin filming shortly. Other films on the Hereford slate include gangland home invasion movie Reckoning Day, sequel We Still Die The Old Way, Roy Shaw biopic Pretty Boy and casino heist movie Swipe.
