Today, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland announces the return of their annual Family Fun Day, the ultimate family day out, taking place on 1st January 2024. Family Fun Day will celebrate the last day of Winter Wonderland’s 2023 season and ring in 2024, before saying final goodbyes and returning next winter.
Specially curated for families, the day has a whole host of free, extra programming on offer in addition to the over 200 rides and attractions at Winter Wonderland, including shows, live workshops and a treasure hunt. The event will be open from 10am to 10pm with free entry tickets available to pre-book online.
Everyone’s favourite Heeler Pups, CBeebies’ Bluey & Bingo, will be in attendance, available for meet and greets throughout the day at Explorer’s Rest.
Face painting and arts and crafts will also be available all day long in the Bavarian Hall, Comedy Shows will take place throughout the day at The Fire Pit, as well as circus skills workshops at the Circus Bar and live ice carving at the Magical Ice Kingdom. This is in addition to roaming performances by a bubbleologist and a Treasure Trail Adventure across the entirety of the park.
The Treasure Trail Adventure invites young explorers to solve clues and seek out seven hidden letters at attractions across Winter Wonderland, following a treasure map available to download online. All young explorers who complete the challenge will receive a well-deserved prize to enjoy at the event.
Family Fun Day is the last chance to enjoy a festive day out at Winter Wonderland, just before the gates close for the season. The exciting, one-off programming at the park offers the ultimate family day out to beautifully kick start the new year.
Please note, all Family Fun Day activities are subject to availability and offered on a first-come first-served basis. Entry tickets must be pre-booked online and are expected to sell out. Visitors are also encouraged to pre-book their rides and attractions to ensure they don’t miss out.
There will be no alcohol served on-site at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland on 1st January.
