Iconic Chelsea nightclub, Embargo Republica and Putney’s Le Fez are relaunching under new ownership this October.

A stalwart of the Kings Road, Embargo Republica opened its doors in the 1990s, and has since welcomed a number of famous faces including Leonardo Di Caprio, Hugh Grant, Prince William and Prince Harry, One Direction’s Niall Horan and rock icon Mick Jagger recently celebrated his 80th birthday at the club.

Embargo Republica will be undergoing a refurbishment and London’s revellers will be able to enjoy a brand new roof terrace, a state of the art lighting system and a reconfigured DJ booth, delivering the ultimate 360 dancefloor experience.

New owners, James Somers, Marko Nikolic and Alex Tomovic say: “We’re so excited to continue the Embargo Republica legacy, and Le Fez has been one of South West London’s most popular late night venues for decades. We’re seeing people wanting to go “out out” once again, with many embracing the current trend for daytime debauchery. From daytime brunch parties to mum’s who rave, it’s clear the dance floor still holds a special place in the Capital’s heart. With two iconic London nightclubs raring to go, day or night, we’re excited to kick off the winter season in style.
