A jewel in London’s winter calendar, The Queen’s House Ice Rink is back by popular demand. Running from 21 November 2025 until 4 January 2026 following a fallow year in 2024, the rink will return to its iconic location for another winter season. Starting from today super early bird tickets are available to purchase online here.

Set against the timeless elegance of The Queen’s House – a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of London’s most celebrated architectural and historic landmarks, this open-air rink offers a skating experience unlike any other. Away from the hustle and bustle, the returning ice rink, which is one of the largest in the UK, is a carefully curated winter destination that combines sophistication with seasonal magic.

Londoners and those visiting the city can enjoy all the greatness The Queen’s House Ice Rink has to offer, gliding across the ice with a beautiful photo-worthy backdrop to capture memories with friends and family. After building up an appetite on the ice, visitors can enjoy a post skate snack at the ‘Zero Degrees’ restaurant serving classic winter warmers like mac ‘n’ cheese and pizzas, rounding off a quintessentially British festive outing.

New this year is the Skate on and Skate off ‘Pit Lane’ available during skating for those needing a break and a hot chocolate or mulled wine, plus a VIP ticket option allowing for fast-track entry into the rink.

The rink will offer a variety of skate sessions tailored to meet the needs of all visitors. This includes dedicated quiet and toddler sessions designed for a more relaxed environment, along with weekly events for students.

With sustainability at the heart of the event, the rink is the only large ice rink in the UK that is fully powered by the grid making it the most sustainable attraction of its type in the UK.

The organisers will also be working closely with local community groups and charity partners to offer discounted prices for groups and school trips across the season.

Rob Derry, Director at Tamarisk Events, who coordinates the event said: “We’re proud to bring one of the top three largest ice rinks in the UK to Greenwich once more, as part of our mission to create magical and sustainable winter events that will set the standard for winter attractions globally. This is not just London’s most beautiful ice rink – by being fully powered by the grid, The Queen’s House Ice Rink is also the most sustainable attraction of its type in the UK, allowing visitors to enjoy the magic of skating with a lighter footprint.”

Super Early Bird tickets for The Queen’s House Ice Rink are now on sale.
