Budding young musicians, producers – and anyone with an interest in music – are being invited to take their first steps into the industry this month.
Royal Greenwich Music Service is hosting Ignite, a free music careers event, for students in Year 10 and older.
The workshop, which will be hosted at Woolwich Works, will feature keynote speakers, an opportunity to network with industry experts and a chance to get questions answered.
Councillor Matt Morrow, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “This is a great opportunity for any young person with a passion for music.
“We’re committed to making sure every young person reaches their full potential. Our borough could be home to a future Brit award winning songwriter, or a Grammy winning producer – and this could be where they start!”
Ignite will take place on June 29 at Woolwich Works, between 2 and 6pm.
