STUDENTS attending the ‘Welcome Back’ Fair at Imperial College’s South Kensington Campus met with local business professionals including high street opticians Specsavers Fulham and Kensington who had experts on hand to discuss local eye and audiology services on offer to the students.
The Fair was buzzing with returning students keen to take up any offers, goody bags, and also speak to the various business owners as the event provided a great forum to explore the different professions represented from across the Borough.
Nimesh Modi, Optometrist director at Specsavers Fulham and Kensington stores, said: ‘We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day at Imperial and speaking to students from all over the world. We advised them about the various services our team provides, including emergency eye care appointments.
‘A number of them were keen to find out more about career opportunities at Specsavers, including our training and development programme.
‘Lots of them left with goody bags, gifts and various offers, so all in all it was a fun, stimulating day.’
