Boots, the UK’s leading beauty retailer, has opened its 170th premium beauty hall in White City, London. A new hotspot for beauty lovers, the store is the latest to be revamped as part of Boots’ on-going beauty reinvention journey. There are now 170 new and refreshed beauty halls up and down the country, from full-size beauty playgrounds in large town centres like St Albans (just completed in December 2022) and Macclesfield, to small-format halls in locations like East Kilbride, Grantham and Stratford-upon-Avon.
Indiyah (Boots Beauty Ambassador and ex-Love Islander), and Patricia Bright (leading British beauty influencer) visited the launch of Boots newest premium beauty hall at White City, London.
The new beauty hall in White City features trending zones, discovery areas and consultation spaces with beauty treatments and services from top brands. A new team of Boots Beauty Specialists join the 1,000-strong Beauty Crew across the UK, offering personalised, brand-neutral beauty and skincare advice to customers for free. White City is amongst the first of Boots beauty halls to stock trending new brands Grown Alchemist, Sol De Janeiro and Function of Beauty, alongside cult beauty icons Kylie Cosmetics, NARS, MAC Cosmetics and Drunk Elephant.
Paul Niezawitowski, Beauty Director at Boots said: “As the UK’s leading beauty retailer, our ambition is to make incredible beauty products more accessible for everyone. We are continuing to transform beauty on the high street, introducing reinvented beauty halls in Boots stores from Sunderland to Southend-on-Sea. We’re proud to bring the flagship beauty experience to more customers in towns and cities across the country.”
In addition to transforming its beauty halls, Boots has invested in its digital proposition, helping customers to access the world’s leading beauty brands wherever they are in the UK. Boots.com, the UK’s number one most visited health and beauty website, has undergone a number of upgrades to improve the customer experience, including easier check out, enhanced security and new payment methods. Boots digital sales growth continued to outperform the market in Q1, accounting for 18% of total retail sales. With Next Day Click and Collect available at over 1,600 locations, customers can choose from over 500 beauty brands on boots.com and order by 8pm to collect in their local store or pharmacy as soon as the next day.
Alongside the roll-out of new beauty halls, Boots has stocked its shelves with exciting new products for customers to explore. So far this year, it has launched over 1,000 new beauty lines across its skincare, haircare and cosmetics categories from more than 100 different brands. And there is more to come, with over 600 new lines landing in stores and online throughout March and April, including exclusive launches from MAC Cosmetics, Kylie Cosmetics, Fenty Skin, Estee Lauder, NARS and No7.
