7-year-old Darcie-Rose from Hornchurch experienced the once-in-a-lifetime moment of walking out at Wembley in front of thousands last night, ahead of the England v Serbia match.
Darcie was offered the opportunity by the Football Foundation, who selected her for one of two spots offered to the charity by its funding partner, The FA.
Darcie’s nanny Lisa Di Palma was tragically killed on holiday in Turkey this summer and her world has been turned upside down. She has continued to play for her grassroots team Tigers Junior Football Club where Lisa was secretary before her tragic passing.
