We caught up with Cosmin to discover his favourite London haunts.
How do you enjoy living in South Kensington and what are your favourite local spots?
I absolutely love living here. It is so central but quiet and green in the same time. It’s like living in the country side with so many communal gardens and the Royal Parks right on our doorstep but with all the benefits of city living.
My local is Blakes, love the romantic candle lit atmosphere and the bar downstairs for late night cocktails with my friends.
Having lived in Dubai for almost 3 years, what do you miss most about the social life there?
I miss Dubai so much and all my friends there. Living in Dubai feels like a holiday every single day and there is always something or somewhere new to do or try. I’m glad all my favourite places have branches in London too, like Zuma, Nobu, Novikov. Of course I miss their famous Friday brunches and yacht parties.
The most Instagrammable spot in London?
It has to be the powder room at Annabel’s.
Favourite restaurant in London?
The London food scene is incredibly exciting and wonderfully diverse. So many favourites, but always Park Chinois for the crispy duck, Nobu for the crispy rice and MNKY House for the great party vibes.
It’s been a busy year for you already, what’s next on the cards?
I’m spending the entire month of December away in the Philippines and Thailand with my friends and my partner, so I will try to recharge my batteries for 2020. Next year I am starting my own PR and Social Media consultancy so am really excited about that.
Best idea for a Christmas gift this year?
