From Saturday 3rd August, Islington Square, on Upper Street will launch a brand-new weekly dog market run by Woof About, alongside the existing Urban Food Fest market.
Taking place every Saturday in August, 11am-5pm, the dog friendly market is created with a dog’s best interest at heart, with a line-up of stalls from the likes of Butternut Box selling fresh food and treats, The Sociable Pup offering harnesses, leads and toys, and When Dogs showcasing bandanas and bow ties. Plus, visitors will be able to purchase dog clothing and other accessories including canine friendly plant-based treats and gut health testing kits.
Dog owners can bring their pooch for a one-off experience at Islington Square on the 3rd August where a dog portrait artist will be there to sketch a takeaway keepsake. A recipe for the pawfect day out!
The activation joins the weekly Saturday market in partnership with Urban Food Fest on the boulevard showcasing a bustling hub of local makers’ stalls offering street food and artisanal products alongside free creative crafts for all the family. Visitors can unwind and relax in the vintage furniture seating area, while families can enjoy a free child-friendly arts and crafts station which is on offer each week. Redeem a free soft drink or craft beer with every market purchase.
