Step into the spectacular Alexandra Palace Theatre for Mark Gatiss’s spine-tingling adaptation, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story, returning for a third season from 21 November 2025 – 4 January 2026. Set within a supernatural Victoria world, the production stars Neil Morrissey in the role of Jacob Marley and Matthew Cottle as Scrooge.

Prefer your panto on ice? We’ve got you covered. Glide into the enchanting tale of Sleeping Beauty in the Alexandra Palace Ice Rink from 4 – 8 December 2025. A beloved Ally Pally tradition, this charming production combines graceful skating, beautiful choreography and timeless storytelling, brought to life by the talented cast of Alexandra Palace Ice Rink Amateur Productions.

Of course, the Alexandra Palace Ice Rink is always ready to roll, but there’s nothing quite like a festive skate sound-tracked to the ultimate party playlist between 11 December 2025 – 5 January 2026! Enjoy a spin around the ice with family and friends, followed by winter warmers, mulled wine, hot chocolate, mince pies and so much more in our fairy-lit East Court Café.

For something a little more musical, don’t miss the Philharmonia Festive Brass at Christmas on 15 December 2025 in the Alexandra Palace Theatre. Expect uplifting renditions of festive favourites and seasonal classics, guaranteed to leave you feeling merry and bright.

Meanwhile, from the North Pole to North London, Santa’s Grotto opens in the East Court from 28 November 2025 – 23 December 2025. Meet Santa, snap a photo, and take home a small gift to remember the magic.

If that’s not enough, and you’re out enjoying the Park, make sure you pop into the East Court to catch free Carol Performancesfrom 21 December – 4 January 2025, featuring some of North London’s best community and school choirs filling the Palace with festive cheer around our beautiful 20ft Christmas tree.

While you’re there, browse the Waterstones Pop-Up Bookshop for the perfect read, or a thoughtful last-minute gift, ideal for book lovers of all ages. Then stop by Ally Pally’s very own Gift Shop, stocked with exclusive Christmas cards and unique treats.

And it wouldn’t be Christmas without Darts at Ally Pally. The world-famous Paddy Power World Darts Championship returns for its annual pilgrimage to Alexandra Palace from 11 December 2025 – 3 January 2026, serving up 20 days of pure high-octane sporting drama and an atmosphere like no other.

Since opening in 1873, the People’s Palace has been bringing people together through entertainment, culture and recreation; and that spirit is still at the heart of everything Ally Pally does today. The Alexandra Park and Palace Charitable Trust cares for the Grade II-Listed Palace and its 196 acres of award-winning parkland, hosting everything from live music and theatre, to sport, comedy, spoken word, skating, community events, Creative Learning programmes, and so much more. As a Charity, Alexandra Palace relies on income from events, visitors, donations and vital funding to help maintain and restore the Park and Palace for everyone to enjoy.
