Good health is central to human happiness and well-being. The importance and benefits of being fit is known by all, and people are likewise acting upon it. They are actively participating in it and are striving to add it to their daily routine. While doing so, the factors of training and endurance play a significant role. Both these factors are closely associated, as with strenuous training comes the will to endure the pain. Jordan Collins, an athletic trainer, and mentor by profession, rightfully teaches his students and trainees the importance of these two highly weighing factors.
Making his debut as a professional athlete mentor in 2009, Jordan Collins, today is known by many as a “professional sports performance specialist” and a “professional athletedeveloper.” He holds certifications of DBC Level One, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), and Total Motion Release (TMR). Being an experienced and certified professional, Collins ensures to train each of his students to become the absolute best and adopt the right training technique.
Train the Right Way
Athletic training is not everyone’s cup of tea. The training methods are different from regular exercise and require special attention. Anyone who aspires to become an athlete is required to train themselves under the supervision of a professional mentor. This is because athletic training involves weight lifting, which can result in severe injury if not performed under a mentor’s guidance. Jordan specializes in injury prevention, return to play, and movement therapy. He knows the consequences of unguided athletic training and activities, which is why he heavily focuses on the young lot.
Youngsters are energetic and have a fresh mind. They easily adapt to new methods and training techniques. Their enthusiasm should be channeled in the correct way, and Jordan Collins is doing exactly that. The new wave of being physically fit and maintaining a healthy body has become a lifestyle that the majority of the youth seem to follow. With that being said, youth sports is being overshadowed by competitions that prioritize nothing but fame and money. This has deviated the focus of the individuals from training to be fit to training to gain fame. Due to this, a rise in youth sports injuries can be seen.
With years of professional training, Jordan Collins strictly opposes the practice of relying on sports activities for further conditioning. He is of the opinion that sports do not enhance athletic inefficiencies; instead, it exposes them. This is one of the core reasons that Jordan specializes in performance training. By using tried and tested tactics, specifically designed training techniques Jordan ensures to systematically develop the athletic characteristics to compete in sports.
With the increasing demand for young athletic training, the youth are forced to develop efficient training bodies at a young age. Comprehending the concern, Collins is determined to teach them the correct ways of changing direction, quickly accelerating and decelerating, jumping, and sprinting. Proper training is crucial for these aspirants as it allows them to gain a competitive edge, reduce the risk of injury, and make an athlete master specific skills required for the sport.
Everything good in life has no shortcuts. Similarly, the ultimate desire of an athlete to maintain a super fit body alongside athletic mastering skills does not come easy. An athlete is labeled as a professional after years of training and endurance. Learned under the guidance of sports veterans such as John Davies, Lance Kelley, and Bill Jones, Jordan’s ability to train and develop players is exceptional. He follows long-term strategies and plans to gradually develop an athlete.
