Inspired by the advert starring award-winning superstars, Christina Aguilera and Latto, the delivery app is back with another unexpected mash-up, but this time with a new musical twist on the classic brunch.

This August, Just Eat and leading hip hop brunch organisers, Supa Dupa Fly, will open the doors to the first ever “Hip Hopera Brunch” experience. But of course, a brunch would not be complete without the tastiest of eats delivered by Just Eat. Guests will dine on award-winning chicken from Thunderbird Fried Chicken and creamy Italian gelato from the Kings of desserts, Kaspa’s Desserts.

Taking place on Saturday 17th August, music presenter Snoochie Shy, alongside a lineup of Supa Dupa Fly’s resident Hip Hop DJs, Mercedes Benson, Emily Rawson and Sandra Omari will host the ultimate party, spinning the freshest hip hop beats with remixes featuring opera-style vocals.

Guests will feel bougie while they boogie, sipping on free-flowing drinks while dining and dancing against a backdrop of renaissance grandeur and marble statues at Amazing Grace, a former Church in London Bridge.

With interactive quizzes, top-notch entertainment and dramatic dance performances, promising to keep guests entertained from 12-5pm on the day, it’s fair to say that attendees should expect the unexpected.

Susan O’Brien, Interim CMO & VP Global Brand at Just Eat Takeaway.com, said: “We’re so excited to bring the first Hip Hopera brunch experience to London. As our two ‘Hip Hopera’ superstars, Christina Aguilera and Latto sing in our ad, Just Eat “got more flavours than you tasted or you heard in your life” and this event is about bringing together a surprising fusion of music and delicious food. The unexpected mix of music genres reflects the amazing variety of what Just Eat can deliver. From grocery essentials to brunch and lunch from popular restaurants as well as locally-loved authentic dishes – Just Eat has it all.”

Snoochie Shy, Radio DJ and TV personality says: “I’m super excited to be hosting the Just Eat HipHopera Brunch! Obviously I love hip hop and all the surprising operatic elements will make it the perfect mix! For everyone’s sake I definitely won’t be providing any opera vocals myself… but the DJ’s will have you covered with some sick mashups.

“With the music and delicious food from Just Eat partners going off we know it’s going to be a vibe – with loads of surprises in store – can’t wait to catch you there!”

The one-off event is inspired by its iconic advert featuring award-winning superstars Latto and Christina Aguilera, who’ve been keeping the nation singing “did somebody say, Just Eat” all year. The playful lyrics from Latto’s rap and Christina’s operatic-style vocals celebrates the wide variety available to order on the app. Whether hungry Londoners are craving their favourite takeaways, dine-in dishes or looking for everyday groceries, Just Eat is here to deliver it all and more.
