This February half-term, Livat Hammersmith is helping families to keep the children entertained, with a range of free activities for all ages.
As the cost of living crisis continues to put pressure on families across the local area and beyond, the range of free activities will provide options for parents and children to have fun and learn new things, without breaking the bank.
Running from Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th, activities include the Livat Half-Term Chillout Lounge, a safe-space and chill-zone for teens & tweens to relax and have fun. Open from 11am – 4pm each day, visitors are invited to simply kick back in comfy IKEA furniture, or take part in the range of free activities taking place within the space over the weekend, including both book and board games swaps for visitors to exchange any old books and games for new ones they haven’t tried before. Any leftover books or games will be donated to a local charity, to ensure that even more children are provided with the opportunity to play.*
Those looking to get crafty can drop in to one of the Origami Masterclasses taking place in the space on Saturday 18th February, to learn to make origami animals then play a story-based interactive game to bring the adventure to life!
