Last chance to shape political map of Brent

0

Local people have just a few days left to help re-draw council ward boundaries across Brent.

A public consultation on proposals that would mean boundary changes for all but one current council ward in Brent will close on 15 April 2019.

The recommendations have been drawn up by the independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England.

Professor Colin Mellors, Chair of the Commission, said: “This is the last chance for local people to have their say on ward boundaries for all borough councillors in Brent.

“We want to hear evidence from the people who know Brent best about the shape of local communities across the borough before we finalise our recommendations in July.”

Local people can have their say directly by visiting: https://consultation.lgbce.org.uk/node/14501/.

The full recommendations and detailed maps are also available on the Commission’s main website at: www.lgbce.org.uk/all-reviews/greater-london/greater-london/brent.

The Commission wants to hear as much evidence as possible to develop final recommendations for Brent. If you would like to make a submission to the Commission, please write or email by 15 April 2019.
