Lecturer, student and alumnus longlisted for Music Producers Guild Awards

Congratulations to London College of Music (LCM) Senior Lecturer Paula Wolfe, student Inaki Concepcion and alumnus Pier Demarchi who have all been longlisted for Music Producers Guild (MPG) 2025 Awards.

The MPG was started and is supported by producers, mixers, recording engineers, re-mixers and programmers who are passionate about all aspects of making and recording music. It aims to support members in their careers, campaign for the rights of music industry workers, promote diversity within the industry and to celebrate the achievements of members.

Senior Lecturer in Music Technology Dr Paula Wolfe is up for Self-Producing Artist of The Year for the track Find, the fully reworked title track of her debut EP first released over 20 years ago.

She says, “I am proud and honoured to have been longlisted. My thanks again to the wonderful musicians who helped bring the new arrangements alive.”

MA Record Production student Inaki Concepcion has been longlisted for the Breakthrough Producer of the Year for TASIA’s Lost Poetry EP.

“It’s an amazing honour just to be considered for this award,” comments Inaki. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person involved in the last year of creating music and stories.”

MA Record Production alumnus and sessional lecturer Pier Demarchi has worked with artists as diverse as Nile Rogers and Stormzy and taught the Immersive Audio module at LCM. Pier is up for Dolby Atmos® Mixer of the Year for tracks by Juls, Andy C and Ferry Corsten, and Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani & Green Velvet.

“I am so happy to be considered amongst such great names at the MPG Awards! Atmos® mixing has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful for every project I have worked on. Huge thanks to the artists, labels, and everyone who trusts me with their music!”

The Music Producers Guild (MPG) 2025 Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday 24 April.
