Popeyes®, the Louisiana chicken brand, will open its doors in Lewisham Shopping Centre on Friday 7th December 2023. Located in the East Mall, the 1,186 sqft restaurant the restaurant will offer the brand’s full mouth-watering menu, which showcases their 12-hour marinated chicken.
Renowned for its Chicken Sandwich which ‘broke the internet’ and its world-famous ‘shatter crunch’ chicken, the menu includes the much-loved Signature Louisiana Chicken, Chicken Tenders, Hot Wings and Popeyes® original Southern Biscuits with gravy and more, seven days a week.
The Lewisham restaurant will also offer the Popeyes Breakfast menu, including the new Big Cajun roll, which features a Cajun hash brown, sausage, egg, and Cajun ketchup. A Bacon Roll Meal is just £2.99. Breakfast will be served from 8-11 am every day at the Lewisham restaurant.
Popeyes® UK is set to pull out all the stops to showcase its Southern hospitality as it brings a taste of New Orleans to Lewisham. To celebrate the opening day, Popeyes® are bringing their Mardi Gras inspired ‘Pop up’ to the Lewisham Shopping Centre. The pop up will start from 9am, featuring a range of fun-filled activities, such as a photo booth, a professional face painter and a ‘Spin to Win’ wheel which brings the brand’s popular online Winner Winner Chicken Spinner game to life, where fans can play the game both online and in-person to win some amazing prizes.

What’s more, the opening will be soundtracked with a live brass band, The Brass Funkeys, to bring the brand’s Mardi Gras atmosphere to Lewisham.

Popeyes® is the third addition to Lewisham Shopping Centre this year, following the opening of Gootopia, the UK’s first high street slime store, and Pandora in Spring 2023.
