Exactly one year on from when the Lindt Swiss Master Chocolatiers first launched their viral Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate, another green-hued flavour is about to fill our feeds.
Introducing the Lindt Tokyo Style Chocolate Matcha Strawberry bar with premium, ceremonial grade Chamei Minami matcha, crispy Genmai roasted rice and Lindt’s signature irresistible Swiss white chocolate.
Inspired by the precision of Japan’s 800-year-old tea tradition, this new flavour brings a fresh and luxurious take on the matcha craze, combining this refined blend of hand-selected aromatic matcha and Genmai with fruity strawberry pieces and ultra velvety white chocolate. This harmonious combination is the ultimate symbol of indulgence, making the perfect stocking filler or moment of post-dinner bliss.
Among the most exclusive and high-quality varieties worldwide, the Chamei Minami matcha adds a bright, balanced note to pair seamlessly with the freshness of strawberry and decadent sweetness of white chocolate. Its delicate, nutty aroma and crunchy texture creates an elegant taste experience to celebrate the ritual of pausing.
Stefan Bruderer, Master Chocolatier at Lindt & Sprüngli, said: “After seeing the reaction to our Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate over the past year, we’re excited to continue our culinary journey, this time to Japan, and launch a new innovation that combines the finest Swiss chocolate craftmanship with the secrets of traditional tea ceremonies using Japanese matcha. We can’t wait to see what people think of this exclusive drop!”
Inspired by the serenity of Japanese tea ceremonies and the growing desire for moments of mindfulness, this latest creation from Lindt is exclusively available in its flagship London Piccadilly store from 6th December, with an RRP of £15. As the brand’s most exclusive drop yet, fans will have to be quick, as there’s only 200 available! Each bar will be hand numbered in store for that extra special touch and limited to one per person.
For those who miss out, fear not as Lindt will be launching a competition over on Instagram (@lindtuk) for another chance to get their hands on this limited-edition bar.
