Livat Hammersmith has been bringing the community together this season with the return of ‘From Livat With Love’ – a month-long programme of joyful activities, uplifting wellbeing workshops, and locally crafted Christmas gifting.
Running from the 29th of November – 22nd of December, this year’s line-up has centred on two standout experiences: the return of the free Santa’s Grotto and the launch of the Livat Winter Lodge with a packed schedule of free wellness and sustainability events. Also coming to Livat for the festive season is the Winter Garden with a host of IKEA workshops and Livat Christmas events.
FESTIVE FAMILY FUN: SANTA’S GROTTO RETURNS
A seasonal favourite for families across West London, the Livat Santa’s Grotto returns to the Atrium on selected dates throughout December. Children can meet Santa for free, snap a festive photo under the twinkling lights and collect a free gift from Father Christmas inside IKEA Hammersmith.
Free to attend, the grotto will run on: 29th – 30th of November, 6th – 7th of December, 13th – 14th of December and 20th – 22nd December, from 12pm–5pm, on a first-come, first-served basis.

CREATING SPACES FOR COMMUNITY: THE WINTER GARDEN
From the 14th of November, the Atrium’s Winter Garden opens its doors: a cosy, snow-dusted social space designed to bring the community together. Complete with trees, soft lighting and seating, the space will host a full programme of festive activities throughout December including Wreath Making (Adults Only) on Friday the 5th of December, Tree-rific Decorations on Thursday the 4th of December and Thursday the 18th of December, Jolly Gingerbread & Festive Food Tasting on Sunday the 7th, 14th & 21st of December, the Cosy Christmas Corner Storyteller on Thursday the 18th of December, and Keyring Making on Friday the 19th of December.
Visitors can also enjoy Christmas Gift Wrapping at Livat Hammersmith on the 10th, 11th and 13th of December from 12pm until 5:30pm. While doing their festive shopping, visitors can stop by The Winter Garden to get gifts wrapped beautifully, and for free. Simply bring along gifts purchased at Livat to the wrapping stand in The Winter Garden (up to two items per person) for complimentary festive wrapping. Livat will be collecting voluntary donations in support of Barons Court Project and West London Welcome – celebrate the season with kindness and help support the local community.
