Local school in South London put on their bunny ears and bounced into action this spring as part of a joyful Bunny Hop fundraiser in support of St Christopher’s Hospice.

Throughout Spring, pupils from local schools and nurseries in South London will take part in sponsored Bunny Hops. This is where fun, energetic circuits are designed to get children moving, wearing bunny ears, while raising vital funds for the hospice’s specialist end‑of‑life care and family support services.

The event brings together hundreds of young children and teachers, all united by a shared goal of helping St Christopher’s continue to provide vital end-of-life care across the community.

Miss Chisholm, Teacher, said: “We’re thrilled to be involved and supporting Bunny Hop for the second year.

“The children were so excited, and it’s a really fun thing to do a wonderful way to teach them about kindness and helping others.”

Bella, pupil, said: “It was really fun and exciting. I would like to do this everyday!”

St Christopher’s Hospice relies on community fundraising to provide expert care, emotional support, and wellbeing services to thousands of people each year. Events like the Bunny Hop help ensure this care remains free for those who need it most.

Christine Davies, Head of Fundraising, St Christopher’s, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to every child, parent and teacher taking part. Their enthusiasm and energy bring such joy to this fundraiser, and it genuinely makes a meaningful difference to the families we support at St Christopher’s. Seeing local schools come together in this way shows the strength of our community and the compassion that underpins everything we do.”

Members of the public can get involved by donating, or organising their own Bunny Hop event.
