Ahead of Valentine’s Day, London City Lionesses are inviting fans to ‘Make a Date with LCL’ with a special ‘Galentines’ themed matchday as they host Everton at home on Sunday 8 February.
Alongside the Club’s regular kids’ fan zone activities, including face painting, arts and crafts and the popular ‘Chip It in the Bin’ challenge, young adult supporters can enjoy a range of special Galentines specific activations. The gameday activations will include a photo booth, selfie mirror, themed prize claw machine, friendship bracelet-making station and a Polaroid photo wall.
London City Lionesses Captain Kosovare Asllani said: “From the moment I joined this Club, I’ve made friends, celebrated incredible moments and been made to feel a huge part of the London City family. Football has a way of bringing people together, and matchdays like this are about sharing those moments, making lifelong memories and feeling connected”
The Galentine’s matchday is part of London City’s desire to make matchdays more inclusive, social and accessible for new and existing fans.
London City Lionesses secured a 2–1 away victory over Everton earlier this season, with this return fixture scheduled for Sunday 8 February at 12:00pm at the CopperJax Community Stadium.
Tickets are available now, with supporters encouraged to secure their place early
