London-based care providers shone at the 2026 Caremark Awards, securing five prestigious titles, with Caremark Richmond Upon Thames scooping three of these:

• The national Rising Star Award – Caremark Greenwich
• Regional Award for the best business in London – Caremark Barking & Dagenham
• Transformational Growth Award – Caremark Richmond Upon Thames
• Large Franchise of the Year – Caremark Richmond Upon Thames
• Franchisee of the Year – Caremark Richmond Upon Thames

The awards, which recognise offices demonstrating exceptional care standards, strong leadership and a meaningful contribution to the wider Caremark network, were presented at the 2026 Caremark annual conference, where more than 140 offices from the home care provider’s network competed across multiple categories.

Caremark Richmond Upon Thames

This office was the standout winner of the awards, taking home Large Franchise of the Year, the Transformational Growth Award, and the evening’s top honour, Franchisee of the Year.

The Large Franchise of the Year award recognises high-performing offices operating at scale across the Caremark network. Presented to Franchise Owners Swati Bagwe and Shipra Mehta, the accolade celebrates its outstanding internal quality ratings and consistently strong performance across care quality, customer service, staff satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

David Glover, CEO of Caremark, said:

“Last year, Caremark Richmond Upon Thames won the regional award. This year, they have really shown us what excellence looks like at scale. Swati and Shipra have been trading for nine years, always putting quality of care and strong business relationships at the heart of what they do. Their team is encouraged to grow into new roles, creating a motivated, high-performing office.

“This focus has certainly paid off as the business achieves high turnover, growing 65% year-on-year, with private customers now accounting for 37% of their client base.”

The Transformational Growth Award, part of Caremark’s national Triple Mark Care Climb initiative, celebrates Caremark Richmond Upon Thames delivering exceptional results across growth, retention and quality.

The evening’s highest honour, Franchisee of the Year, was decided by a live peer vote between the winners of the Small, Medium, and Large Franchise of the Year categories and Caremark Richmond Upon Thames emerged as the overall winner.

Caremark Greenwich – Rising Star Award

The Rising Star Award recognises franchisees trading for less than three years who have achieved impressive business growth while earning a strong reputation in their local communities. Caremark Greenwich has quickly established itself by combining excellent care with a results-driven approach that promises even greater impact in the years ahead.

Caremark’s Franchise Manager Matthew Glover explained why Greenwich stood out:

“Since officially launching the business in 2024, Franchise Owner Sukhvir Gill, working closely with Registered Care Manager James Principe, has driven rapid growth at the Greenwich office. Through determination, commitment and hard work, Sukhvir and the team have achieved significant increases in turnover while consistently maintaining exceptional standards of care and trust within the community – firmly establishing Greenwich as one of Caremark’s most promising up-and-coming offices.”

Regional Award for London – Caremark Barking & Dagenham

Caremark Barking & Dagenham stood out for its consistently high-quality support for customers and their families, alongside the professionalism and dedication of its local care team. Franchise Owners Matthew and Christianah Jegede received multiple nominations from their peers, praising both the quality of care delivered and the culture they have built within their service.

One nomination stated:

“Mr. Matthew is always supportive and available when I need advice. He goes above and beyond by helping train my Care Assistants and ensuring they are confident in their work. His dedication truly makes a difference.”

Impressed with the team’s contribution to the Caremark network, CEO David Glover added:

“These are fantastic achievements for all three offices. Swati and Shipra, Sukhvir, and Matthew and Christianah have all built teams that are clearly making a real difference to people’s lives across London, not just through the quality of care provided, but through the trust they build with families every day.

“With Caremark now delivering around 135,000 hours of care each week across the UK, it’s offices like Greenwich and Barking & Dagenham that set the benchmark for what outstanding care should look like.”
